A Global Business Week is a special time designated by each enrolled city. The Mayor in each enrolled city is encouraged to set aside a week by highlighting the opportunities in the global marketplace. Proclamations from previous events are available upon request. A global business week, consist of economic empowerment conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibits, public speaking engagements, and Youth leadership conferences. The Economic Empowerment Conference is made up of a panel of foreign and domestic leaders from developing nations. It highlights the economic connection between the enrolled cities communities and the guest nation. There are many other activities that take place during the Global Business Week sponsored by other public and private organizations.
